Job Title: Asset Investment Manager - Complex Cases
Location: Asset Management Directorate
Reports to: Assistant Director of Asset Management
Role Overview:
The Asset Investment Manager will lead a team to manage complex cases such as disrepair and DMC issues. You'll oversee the delivery of the annual asset investment program, ensuring customer-focused service and compliance with contracts. The role involves managing budgets, improving service delivery, and driving continuous improvement across asset management. You will also lead staff, manage relationships with stakeholders, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage asset investment projects, ensuring effective contract management and performance.
- Oversee the delivery of complex case resolutions and customer satisfaction.
- Lead a team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational improvement.
- Manage budget controls, financial planning, and ensure compliance with all statutory and health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to improve services and deliver value for money.
- Drive organisational change and manage the development of a high-performing team.
Requirements:
- Experience in asset investment, case management, and property maintenance.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Knowledge of housing sector regulations and legislation.
- Proven ability in budget management and financial control.
- RICS or CIOB membership and a degree in building or construction preferred.
- Full clean UK driving license.
