Job Title: Asset Investment Manager - Complex Cases
Location: Asset Management Directorate
Reports to: Assistant Director of Asset Management
Role Overview:
The Asset Investment Manager will take charge of managing intricate cases, such as disrepair issues and DMC concerns. The role involves overseeing the execution of the annual asset investment programme, ensuring services are delivered with a customer-centric approach while meeting all contractual obligations. You will manage budgets, enhance service delivery, and focus on driving continuous improvements within the asset management function. In addition, the role requires effective team leadership, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring strict adherence to health and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage asset investment projects, ensuring robust contract administration and performance monitoring.
Oversee the resolution of complex cases, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Manage a team, promoting a culture of ongoing development and operational excellence.
Control budgets, manage financial plans, and ensure compliance with relevant statutory and health and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery and provide value for money.
Champion organisational change, leading the development of a high-performing and efficient team.
Requirements:
Experience in asset investment management, case handling, and property maintenance.
Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
Comprehensive knowledge of housing regulations and industry standards.
Demonstrated expertise in managing budgets and financial control.
Preferably holds a degree in building or construction and is a member of RICS or CIOB.
Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
