We're looking for a talented professional to join our team and contribute to exciting projects in asset information extraction. In this role, you will:
- Develop algorithms to extract asset data from imagery, LiDAR, and GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) data.
- Play a key role in enhancing and maintaining our internal Python-based software.
- Handle computational tasks, including signal and image processing.
- Combine data from multiple sources to generate valuable insights on railway conditions.
- Work with large-scale datasets to support machine learning applications and perform in-depth data analysis.
- Contribute to team discussions and present findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with a skilled and driven team to tackle daily challenges and follow established protocols.
- Requirements
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Master's degree in mathematics, computer engineering, machine learning, or a science-related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience in image processing techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A proven track record of collaborative programming, including experience with version control (Git).
Preferred Skills
- Experience in signal processing.
- Familiarity with ground penetrating radar (GPR) and LiDAR technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understanding of neural network architectures and deep learning principles.
- A background in geophysics is a plus.
