Contracts Manager - Marine Construction
A rapidly growing UK-based marine contractor is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee contractual operations across a range of specialist marine projects. These include rock armour works, heavy lift, subsea cables, decommissioning, and salvage operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead contract negotiation, review, and administration across marine infrastructure projects.
Advise on contract risks, obligations, and entitlements.
Support tender submissions and liaise closely with project and commercial teams.
Ensure compliance with relevant frameworks (FIDIC, NEC, BIMCO, LOGIC, IMCA, and bespoke agreements).
Manage claims, variations, and disputes, ensuring timely resolution and effective stakeholder engagement.
Provide internal guidance on contract interpretation and best practices.
What We're Looking For:
Background in Law, Quantity Surveying, Business, or a related field.
Significant experience managing contracts in marine construction.
Strong working knowledge of industry-specific agreements.
Proven expertise in negotiation, contract strategy, and claims management.
Experience in areas such as subsea cables, heavy lift, salvage, or coastal engineering is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
