The Role
As a Front-End Developer, you will be instrumental in building intuitive and high-performing web applications from the ground up. Working within a dynamic and collaborative environment, you'll help create seamless user experiences and contribute to the design and architecture of innovative digital solutions.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking developers who are passionate about software engineering and thrive in a fast-paced, forward-thinking environment. To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Commercial experience in building React applications, including React hooks, state management, and React's ecosystem.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, along with a solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, including modern CSS frameworks (e.g. Styled Components, Sass).
- Knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques to enhance user experience.
- Experience working with design systems, component libraries, and reusable components.
- A strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices in front-end development.
- Familiarity with modern development practices such as TDD, BDD, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.
- Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git, and experience managing work through collaboration tools like GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities-both verbal and written.
- A growth mindset with a curiosity for new technologies and a commitment to continuous learning.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have!)
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Some backend development experience, particularly with C# and .NET 8.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
