My client are seeking a highly skilled Power Platform Automation & AI Engineer to drive the development and implementation of automation solutions that enhance business productivity. You will play a pivotal role in delivering AI and automation solutions using the latest Microsoft cloud technologies, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and CoPilot.
This is an opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across the business, ensuring that Power Platform solutions align with operational needs. Additionally, you will act as an engineering lead, mentoring and guiding citizen developers and engineers to foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Define standards and reusable patterns on the Power Platform to support business scalability.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance business applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, CoPilot, and Power BI.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and create innovative automation solutions.
- Lead by example, leveraging low-code, no-code, and full-code solutions while ensuring best practices.
- Mentor and support citizen developers and end-users through training and technical guidance.
- Ensure the Power Platform is secure, compliant, highly available, and scalable.
- Identify and adopt the latest AI and automation technologies to enhance business processes.
Essential skills:
- Strong experience partnering with stakeholders to define business needs and deliver technology-driven solutions.
- Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, with an in-depth understanding of its capabilities and limitations.
- Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, CoPilot, and Power BI.
- Knowledge of authentication, security, and application lifecycle management (ALM) in Power Platform.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (React and/or JavaScript), TypeScript, JSON, HTML, RESTful Web APIs, and Microsoft Azure.
- Ability to integrate data sources into Dataverse where appropriate.
- Basic understanding of data structures and relational database concepts.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience leveraging CoPilot to develop AI-driven applications.
- Knowledge of Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Key Vault, and release pipelines.
- Experience in Power App mobile development and chatbot creation.
- Familiarity with Power BI Semantic Models, Microsoft Fabric, and OneLake.
- Power Platform Certifications (PL-100, PL-400, PL-800).
- Experience in coding languages such as Python, C#, and .NET.
