Job Title: Property Project Surveyor
Department: Asset Management
Responsible to: Asset Investment Manager
Main Job Purpose:
The Property Project Surveyor will oversee the management of contractors and planned investment projects. You will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. Your role will include conducting property inspections, preparing reports, and ensuring that all work is compliant with relevant legislation and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Survey properties and define required work to ensure they meet lettable standards.
Manage contractors and ensure that works are delivered to a high standard, within budget and deadlines.
Conduct property inspections and recommend remedial actions where necessary.
Monitor construction works to ensure compliance with contracts, specifications, and health and safety regulations.
Issue site instructions and assist in reviewing and validating claims for additional payments.
Ensure that projects align with tenants' needs and maintain excellent customer service standards.
Maintain accurate documentation, including site diaries and progress reports.
Provide timely progress updates to relevant parties, including tenants and internal teams.
Assist with monitoring and reporting key performance indicators.
