Regional Demand Planner - 12 month FTC

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Demand Planner to manage and optimize our forecasting and supply chain processes. As a key member of our team, you will oversee demand forecasts for your region, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure stock alignment to meet customer needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for data-driven decision-making and supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Demand Planning & Forecasting:

  • Manage, validate, and update demand forecasts for your region to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Generate weekly and monthly forecast reports, providing insights and analysis as required.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing and Supply Teams to ensure accurate demand signals are communicated across all local warehouses.
  • Address and resolve local supply and demand imbalances, recommending stock realignment where needed.
  • Support the Regional Director by conducting tasks related to stock availability and demand planning.
  • Analyze demand data and recommend enhancements to improve planning effectiveness.
  • Provide coverage for other members of the Demand Planning team as needed.
  • Schedule and lead monthly forecast meetings with stakeholders to discuss trends and improvements.

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with management, colleagues, and key stakeholders to meet targets.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Demand Planning Team and other departments to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Engage proactively with key stakeholders to drive performance and achieve specific business goals.
  • Promote a positive, ethical team environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in demand planning or forecasting.
  • A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in the Solar industry and familiarity with current market trends is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in statistics, forecasting methods, and understanding their financial and operational impact.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced expertise in Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while delivering accurate and timely results.
  • Proven ability to meet targets and demonstrate personal integrity and a drive to succeed.
