My client, a leading provider of secure IT services to the public sector, is looking for a Senior IT Support Engineer to join their growing team in Devon. This is a hybrid role with flexible remote working options and offers the chance to work on high-assurance infrastructure supporting defence and government clients.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills across infrastructure and support, with hands-on experience in at least 4 of the following areas:
Microsoft 365 / Azure
Intune
VMware / vSphere / VDI
Windows Server / SQL Server
Linux
Cisco / HP Networking
Fortinet / Cisco Firewalls
Storage Area Networks
AWS
Additional desirable skills include:
PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform, DevOps, CI/CD, Service Desk tools, infrastructure as code, and relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA/CCNP, M365/Azure security).
Key responsibilities:
Design, implement and maintain infrastructure
Troubleshoot and support secure IT environments
Monitor systems and implement upgrades
Collaborate with internal teams and clients
Produce and maintain technical documentation
Candidates must hold or be eligible for UKSV SC clearance.
